Okay, it's not really a problem, but has anyone else noticed a whistling sound coming from the front wing? In fact I think it comes from the front wing but I'm not sure. I barely hear the sound when I'm driving myself. But it's obvious when the car moves towards you at medium/low speed.

No,do you mean from outside when someone else is driving?

I have not heard that. I notice a bit of airflow noise around the A pillar at highway speeds, but nothing clearly from the wing.

More data on PowerShot. Again, only working at EV Battery over 50 degrees. Charge was about 58% battery temp was 52 and it worked. Temp dropped to 50 after being parked and PowerShot would not work.

And today's drama! Stopped for a grandson hand-off (at yet another Sheetz! ) and went to leave. My wife got in first and she had a keyfob with her. Then I got in to drive. Car wouldn't turn on fully. Had error something like "Service Electric Drive" all screens were on but basically unresponsive. Put car in Reverse and the R was flashing on the shifter. So I tried the start button until it seemed like it shut off (maybe the seat moved?) I opened and closed the door and sat there until everything shut off. I think that the only thing still lit was the red "Auto" lower left for the headlights. Then I turned the car back on and "all was well "
YAY! More software shit. If this happens again, I may just take it back and leave it sit until the come up with a real diagnosis and actual fix. I will put up with a LOT , but sitting in an electric car that won't turn on and move isn't on my short list.
Also, the horribly inconsistent braking is irking me as well.
@DodgeCares. We're living the dream here.

You already have a problem with your charging port and the port is linked to the door locking mechanism. I'd bet both problems are linked.

I have the same issue related to passive entry , I spoke with dodge customer care . They told I have to drop off my daytona for few days they will have their engineer check at the dealership . I am dropping off coming Thursday.

This morning PowerShot worked. 72% charge and only 42 degrees F battery temp! Geez i hope (for my math brain sake) it isn't something that factors both in?

Our team is glad to hear of your proactive approach to having this concern looked at. For added clarity, have you attempted a manual reset of your hatch? With the hatch open, manually set the height of the open hatch to the desired position and hold the close hatch button for three seconds to set the position as the vehicles new fully open height. If concerns persist, please let us know, and we will best advise where able.

Local dealership checked out my button issue Friday and they said it needed replaced. They think they’ll have the replacement part early this week.

Tips and Tricks:
1. Driver Mode - App Settings: This is where you have specific settings based on Driving mode. My car lost the backup camera guidelines. Took it into servicing and they found 'setting in radio' as the solution. I had looked through every setting option even under Driver Profile and it wasn't there. When I selected 'App Settings' where you select the 'Drive Mode', there are a bunch of useful settings that aren't in the main settings screen. I found cool options that turn on the Blind Spot cameras when you enable a turn signal. It appears you have to set them for each drive mode. @DodgeCares, maybe you can confirm that.

Yep. I had those on initially as well, briefly then turned it off again.

There is an inconsistent 'Base Load' for these cars. I've noticed some folks talk about features I don't see and vice versa. At my dealership, the other Daytona had the "Phone as Key FOB" app. Mine doesn't have it. The dealer thinks it was a feature not available when I built mine custom.

Unfortunately iPhone only (hopefully not for long).

I have an issue I don't see anyone else mentioning.

Every time I turn my car on, I have to manually turn the center screen on. It defaults to off, no matter what I try.

I've looked through the settings and can't find anything that would affect this. It's not dangerous or anything, just kind of annoying.

Also, wanted to check about an owners manual. The owners manual that came with my Daytona is only 50 pages, and is very skimpy on info. It doesn't even mention anything about the head up display at all.

I've seen some folks mention finding info on their owners manual on pages that mine simply doesn't have.

Did I get jipped and mine is somewhere at the dealership still? How large is everyone else's owners manual?
