I have an issue I don't see anyone else mentioning.

Every time I turn my car on, I have to manually turn the center screen on. It defaults to off, no matter what I try.

I've looked through the settings and can't find anything that would affect this. It's not dangerous or anything, just kind of annoying.

Also, wanted to check about an owners manual. The owners manual that came with my Daytona is only 50 pages, and is very skimpy on info. It doesn't even mention anything about the head up display at all.

I've seen some folks mention finding info on their owners manual on pages that mine simply doesn't have.

Did I get jipped and mine is somewhere at the dealership still? How large is everyone else's owners manual?

It is mentioned in several different videos/documents. It would be useful only as a backup/emergency device since it would take literally days to get the car charged up, but day to day for short trips, you would gain ground. I used a 110v granny cable on my Polestar 2 for a month until I got something else rigged up.
I'll compile what references I do know of.
QuickStart Guide doesn't say it is included, but shows a picture of it.

The linked video on MOPAR's Youtube channel, from the QR code, shows it in the trunk.
"The portable charging cordset (EVSE) can be found in the storage area below the storage lid..."

The Owner's Handbook says "If Equipped"

Same with Owner's Manual

I purchased a Dodge Level 1 charger and have it sitting in the spot shown in the manual (I can't get it to look that neat though). At a 1.44kWh charge rate, it's giving me about 4 miles every hour. It's an emergency solution to get me to a public fast charger. Better than not having it.

I did that for literally 1 day on my Polestar 2 I got last January. Then I ordered this
Amazon.com: NEMA 14-30P to 14-50R EV Charger Adapter Cord, 125V/250V 4-Prong Dryer Outlet to 50 Amp EV Charging Adapter for Level 2 Tesla Charger, RV, 10 AWG : Tools & Home Improvement

So I could plug the Level 2 Chargeset it came with into my dryer outlet. I did that for months, had to set the car to charge at 24 amps or less since that was only a 30 amp circuit. If I ever do get a better level 2 wall unit, the polestar one can also be used as Level 1 when you change the (included) power cord dongle to the 110V.

I had a 70A circuit put in for the car and have a Chargepoint Flex charger set at 50A in the garage. It works well and I see charge rates slightly above 11 kWh. The Level 1 in the trunk is for times when I am at a friend's place, work, etc., and realize that the car doesn't have enough juice to get me home. Most such places will have an AC outlet around the driveway. That's the thought behind it anyway.

Sweet! I repurposed a 50amp circuit that was previously for a hot tub from some previous owner. I pulled the cable and re-routed it to the garage, maybe 10' left over. FREE, no wire, no breaker, all it cost me was an outlet in the garage, and time to poke a hole through for it. So I'm limited to 40amp, but that's fine.

Lucky you! Running 4 AWG copper from my basement to the garage in EMT conduit was a nightmare. It wasn't exactly needed for the Dodge, but I future-proofed a little by using a thicker wire. Who knows what will replace the Dodge, but it will likely still be an EV.

@Pioneer4x4 in any of your compilation of issues lists, did you mention the volume resetting after every power cycle?

Is it just me, or does all the separate volume settings go back to default after you turn the car off? My Navigation, Android Auto, Music, and Notifications volume reset to an ear piercing level. Scares my wife and is starting to bother me.

Mine don't seem to reset, but I cannot seem to get the phone ringing to be quieter, and Siri to be loud enough.

Try adjusting using the volume controls (wheel buttons or knob) when Siri is talking and when the phone is ringing. It was the same in my Challenger, too.

That was happening to me. I need to check my notes/txts. Maybe that was "fixed" with whatever updates they installed 1 week after picking it up. Supposedly some Chrysler Engineer was there and they showed him my issues and they actually asked me to bring it back in. I currently have no issues with volume at all.

I've done that. I have to do it on each start up. It's annoying. I'll mention it when I drop it off next week.

I checked my txts (searched for the word "volume", I got my car January 6th. On the 10th, I txted this
"
Resetting/lowering of regen levels (e-coasting). This is BAD to me. It affects how quickly the car slows down and if it changes drive to drive let alone DURING a drive without you touching the paddles, that is REALLY BAD. Yes, I can learn around it and it isn't random, it's when changing modes or starting the car. But still bad. Even more so for people coming from other EVs that don't do that.
Climate default to OFF every vehicle start. I have to touch the "Auto/Eco" button turn turn it back on.
Volumes keep resetting. You can set Volumes for maybe different things. Android Auto/ Google Maps keeps resetting to way too loud.

"
First issue (regen settings) I'm learning to work around and when to expect it resetting (always...)
Second issue (climate) I'm positive that is from playing with "Race Prep", no longer happens as long as I don't leave that on, not that "Race Prep" actually seems to warm up the battery...
3rd issue with the volume.I don't know if the "updates" they did that weekend helped or what, but I don't have that issue anymore.
One other thing, I may do a total reset of the uConnect. I should have done that first thing when I noticed the equalizer was set horrible (full bass, mid and treb full low). I have rebooted the uConnect as well (when parked, press and hold both knobs in for maybe 10-15 seconds)
So who knows what actually helped.

Yeah, I don't think that's going to fix the resetting issue. My reply was to P.S.Mangelsdorf about how to actually set them in the first place.

Dealership just called me to let me know there is a recall that just came out. It involves replacement of one of the clusters. Part isn’t available until late March. What have we heard on this?

News to me. If it is replacing electronics, that means they have to have a new one designed, OR they already have, and known of the issue. Sounds like a quick turnaround if you get what I'm saying.
