I had a hiccup over the weekend; car wouldn't let me adjust from 100% to 80% max charge - after I'd acknowledge the pop up screen it would select 80% for about a second then revert back to 100%. It charged to 100% as well. Afterwards I clicked the vehicle button and the uconnect set itself to Italian language. Was amusing but could've been worse if I couldn't recognize the characters and get back to the main menu to set the language back to English.

Since then the dashboard screens show a mixture of mph, kmh, KPA, etc. Nothing is consistent to US standards/MPH selection.

I also had my first error codes stating the vehicle couldn't drive and I got the red charging cable image and an error warning about not driving. This was me coming into the parked car, turning it on and attempting to select reverse, car wouldn't go into gear. I also observed a multi-percentage drop in my estimated charge % over the minute or two I tried to figure out what was going on. I ended up turning off the car, locking it and walking away about 50 feet. Waiting about a minute, then coming back. Car booted up normal and I was able to drive home. For what it's worth I have the proximity sensor setting turned off to avoid accidental on/offs.

Outside of this I have noticed, since receiving the car, some inconsistencies when switching driving modes and the cluster screen not swapping to the appropriate gauges - seeing the race or sport images in the dash and hud while in the Auto Eco setting for example. Sometimes it swaps, sometimes it doesn't.

I have not yet gotten the software update, penciled for Thursday.
As we say in I.T. (OK, I say it...)
"Reboot Early, Reboot Often"
Press and hold the left knob until it totally reboots. Just an idea, can't hurt.

Software update should correct a lot of that. I had the same issue when trying to change my max charge level after purposefully setting it and charging to 100%. Once the HVB got below 80%, I was able to change the setting. I guessed that it would not change as long as there was more than 80% battery level. Could that be your issue?

Fingers crossed. I was at 25% at the time of setting the charge level.

I guess I'm just thankful my car isn't going into turtle mode and having unintended acceleration issues...
FWIW, on Saturday my car had the "unintended acceleration"
I was charging from 80% to try to get to 100% before going on a 100 mile drive to see how much over 50% was left when I got back, just for kicks. Then I had to run to the store, and it was at 91% and I had to disconnect while charging, and of course, it was fighting me. I got it disconnected while turned on (but not started) and the usual slew of errors on the screen. I backed out of the garage, and it still had the errors. I figured, eh, short drive, we'll see.
I instantly noticed that the car would go on its own, BUT BRAKES WORKED JUST FINE! So, me being me, I immediately switched to Performance Pages - Dashboard - Gauges to see if power was registering. It was at about 12%, car got up over 35mph without pressing accelerator and even climbed a hill at 20-25mph.
AGAIN, Brake Pedal worked fine. When pressing it, first the power dropped down to 0%, then it would slow the car.
At no point, none, never, did anything feel unsafe, just odd. What it did to me was flashed me back to early 1980s driving our 1975 Impala. It was like on a cold morning, chock would set, high idle would be on, and you put it in gear. You could drive the car exactly like the Dodge felt without pressing the accelerator and only using the brake.
As @MoparTechJordan mentioned somewhere before, it sure felt like it was INTENDED acceleration, as a failsafe/limp mode type thing so you could get the car somewhere safe. Actually it felt like the accelerator pedal was non-responsive entirely.
I only drove less than 1 mile, and pulled over, shut it off, opened door, closed door, started it. No runs, not hits, NO ERRORS.Yeah, kinda sucked, but only for 4 minutes tops, then it was a memory.
FWIW x 2, it is in the shop today (previously scheduled) for the updates.

So I've had two new quirks that I want to flag here for @DodgeCares

First, which DodgeCares and my dealer are already aware of, is since the big update when driving at steady state I get a Service EV Systems warning, which clears when I next start the car. I went back in, turns out there is some intermittent glitch with the R/T's front wheel disconnects that sets this error that clears with a sleep cycle. There was a whole long test procedure that ends with, paraphrasing here: If it passes this step, tell the customer the car is fine and the issue will be fixed in a future update. Like I said above, Dodge knows about this, I just wanted to share for others that may experience it.

Second, which is new the past few days, and I want to flag for Dodge, is that if I approach the car and its been sitting unlocked, such as when its in my garage charging overnight, when it wakes up, it shows the battery at 49% (event though it finished charging) and won't start, but won't throw an error message. If I lock the car, walk away, then come back and unlock the car, it shows 80% (where it should be) and starts fine. I ASSUME that this is some issue with waking up the BMS, but its not clear. Either way, I just always hit the unlock on the fob now and its not an issue, but I want to flag this for Dodge. Please fix it in the next update.

@DodgeCares <-tagged
I have not seen that 2nd issue (and I can't see the first, I don't have the R/T)

Do you think this is a new glitch introduced with the recent powertrain update?

I don't know. It only started happening late last week, which was over a week from the update. If I recall correctly, the update did impact the wakeup, so maybe.

Mine is at Dodge today, I hope it is getting updated. I did the schedule via the app, and pasted in the info from DodgeCares conversation to me. And my son in law dropped it off for me today...
I'm driving his EV9 today, also a VERY nice car.

Dude... That just happened to me today on the way to the airport! I was on a toll road, steep incline and got all the alerts and "Pull over immediately, car will shut off soon". I said fuck it and put the hazards on, crossed my fingers and made it to the airport. If I detoured to a dealership, I would miss my flight. I figured, I just need to find a parking spot that would be easy for a tow truck to grab me.

I love the reference to cars from the 80's... I didn't panic and was able to use the brake to slow down/stop. When I removed the brake I would accelerate, safely to about 51 mph (LOL). By odd luck, the traffic lights were timed perfectly so I only had to stop once, not sure it would move again.

When I got the airport, I shut her down and realized I should pull up a little and curious if she would start. Hopped in and she fired up like a champ. All warning lights were gone.

FWIW, I noticed my brakes were not there when I left this morning. I was in Auto-Eco. When I got up to the 1st stop sign, I had to mash on the brakes to stop. It felt like I was in a different car.

I pulled over and stopped/started the car and the brakes felt normal. 10 miles later, I got the warning lights.

I'll make an appointment when I return.

I have not officially filed a service complaint since January 10th. BUT, (everything before "but" is B.S.) after this update, the clock starts, and I expect it to be 100% trouble free driving/safety wise. Otherwise, every glitch gets reported for service appointments.

My car was already in yesterday getting the powertrain (orwhateverthehellitiscalled) update. I have not driven it since, but will today.
@DodgeCares is there a list of fixes/changes/change log for update 25-080?
Does it include the charge port lock, and the various drivability errors that appear on the screen?
