After watching the video of the update to the unit for the pedestrian sound safety recall, I'd be shocked if the sound palette could be dynamically changed to a random user audio file. Looks like the frazonic audio stuff is embedded deep in the system and not in U-Connect software, so any feature update would likely involve a 2-hour process at the dealer -> $$
But here's my wishlist, (echoing much of others above).
option to kill the startup start-up vroom. That startled everyone else in my family and made them give the whole feature a thumbs down. plus, my neighbors won't want to hear it every morning. (why its any different than dealing with an ICE startup vroom, is a different issue, but my neighbors that already have complimented the car know it's an optional sound, so they probably would prefer not to hear it all the time.)
Option to adjust the volume of the vibration motors so I can "feel" the rumble more. Didn't know that they were there until I read this:
The Elaborate Fake Exhaust System In The Electric 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona Is So Gloriously Stupid It's Genius - The Autopian
It would be cool if it simulated gear shifting and even gave the car a little kick when a shift occurred. I'm sure the Dodge engineers debated this.
I don't mind the turbine sound, but would be nice to have it optional.
I don't really want any novelty sounds, or user loadable mp3s etc... Having a few different curated engine sounds to select from would be cool.
A way to have more sound internal vs external, i.e. turn down the external speakers, but turn up the vibration and internal speakers. I'm assuming that some of the sound is coming from the internal audio system. Maybe I'm mistaken.
Overall, I like the Fratzonic Chamber Exhaust feature more than I thought I would.
#1 WISH - make it possible to add a shortcut to toggle the exhaust sound off and on.
