Surprise OTA, Surprising Results

Like many other owners, I was surprised with the OTA update that was issued yesterday, and further amused when I clicked on the "What's new?" button on the success message only to get a "page not found" error. Yay.

Coincidentally (or maybe not), I've seen some interesting behaviors since which are either related or sheer chance but I thought I'd share them here:
  1. Within 2km of leaving work after applying the update I got a "red lobster" alert, the first I'd seen since the front motor disconnect TSB was applied a couple weeks ago
  2. When I remote started from my fob this morning I got the startup sound (I'd never gotten that starting from the fob previously). Caught me off-guard, too, since I was up early to drive a friend to the airport and I'm afraid it might have disrupted my neighbors.
  3. When I got to the car after that remote start there was a loud, disturbing clicking sound coming from under the hood and I surmise that might be the front motor disconnect. The car pulled away without incident though.
I get that OTA updates are supposed to be "uconnect only" but I find it interesting that these behaviors presented so quickly afterwards.

What update? what version?
It didn't give a version, I just got a notification on the center screen that there was an update waiting to be applied just as I was getting back to work from lunch (2:30pm Pacific) and when I got in to drive away at the end of the day the screen showed a message that had been applied successfully. There was a "What's new?" button but as I say, when I pressed that it just showed an alert that release notes were not available.

On the Daytona Owner's Facebook group I saw a few other users report the OTA as well, so it wasn't just me.

The only change that I have is the "EV Sound" setting under Vehicle > Electric Drive has changed to "Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust". I haven't noticed any other changes.

Common Dodge, where are my patch notes??
Patch notes would be nice. As would seeking user consent before APPLYING the patch.
