Hell hath no wrath like an owner scorned. Given how great an inconvenience it is when a vehicle you depend on fails you, especially more than once, it is not surprising that a lot of owners are irate at this car. Now I don't know what the actual percentage of significant failures we are seeing, as many have noted, most of the owners who have little to no issues are not reporting the (working) condition of their ride but those that are, rightly feel the need to raise the issue of unreliability (the squeaky wheels gets the oil). It would seem that the two major updates should have resolved most problems, but that's small solace to those who have been stranded on at least one occasion.
I'm not the only one who has really enjoyed their driving experience, and so far, feel the car is reliable (I have a near 400 mile trip planned in a week, so we'll see if that holds). The potential is there, but the execution is far from smooth. We know that the Sixpack was supposed to have been available for sale around June, but was delayed due to similar gremlins in the 12V system. Dodge has a lot riding on this, especially the IC version, and we can only hope that they will resolve the problems with reliability, for both EV and IC.
