I thought that it was a federal mandate that EV's made a "spaceship" sound at low speed?

 

A sound, but not necessarily a spaceship. And that is what GM's issue is. Their noise is too quiet. Kick that Bowtiesotic exhaust up to Sport and then everyone would hear the Equinox just fine.

 

I wonder how GM missed this? It isn't as if they're new to EVs, or EVs are new.

 

Well when you have the government dictating how much sound and when and what frequencies so people staring at their phones don't walk out into traffic, even though those people typically have earbuds in now, I don't think GM is the failure.
But, for SAFETIES SAKE I will roll around with EV Sounds on, in Track Propulsion.

 

I still want the delorean sound effect. Still like that better than the fratzonic standard sound. Someone let me know when Dodge release easter egg packages 😁
