Andy Kalmowitz and Steve DaSilva from Jalopnik debate whether or no the Charger Daytona EV sound good or not.

I have to agree with Andy, the Daytona's sound is ridiculous but a lot of fun. The more I listen to it the more it grows on me. It fits the car nicely.

I can't wait to hear it in person, I will reserve my judgment until then.

Props to Dodge for trying something different with EVs though. I think Dodge is at its best when it tries to be different from everyone else. Could've tried to be like everyone else (i.e. the Mustang and Camaro) and turned Challenger/Charger into sports cars but they stuck with the muscle car formula and perfected it over time.

I'm hoping it's user programmable, but if they do that someone will do somethng terrible so that's why we can't have cool things.

I like the idea though.
