What's there to be delusional about? Dodge is a brand that has been around 100 years. The car fucking rocks. Not the UConnect EV stuff, but hey the MoFo' gets you from point a to b in style and luxury compared to other EVs. Bruh, Dukes of Hazzard electrified. That on its own has more clout than an EV company run by the Supreme Leader who prioritizes cheap solutions for safety and value. Sure the Plaid smokes our ride, but I'm not excited about have an Uber/Lyft/Taxi EV that looks like every other car on the road. Our EV is timeless, sleak and muscular. The cockpit is beautiful and functional. Not hating on Johnny Cab lovers. Lucid IMO is a serious contender along with Polestar, Cadillac, Porsche, Audi, BMW, Mercedes, etc.

Disclosure: Dear supreme leader, please don't delay Dodge having access to your Super Charger network because I pointed out your cars are the Yellow Cabs of the 2020's :p.

Aren't all the propulsion systems re-used designs from over 100 years ago? Battery tech is the only big difference.
The basic principles of an electric motor are very old, sure, but not the designs of everything outside of that.

I'm not an award expert or critic. just proud to be a Daytona owner and happy it's getting recognized.
Again, I love my Daytona. But I'm not going to pretend it deserves an award for its powertrain. If we're being honest, the powertrain in our Daytonas is quite a bit behind other cars that cost less.

Recognize it for what it is: a damn sexy electric version of the newly redesigned Dodge Charger. Giving it an award that it doesn't deserve just devalues that award.

I agree. Our cars are some of the most beautiful on the road right now, and so far, mine has been nothing short of excellent. (in the 2 weeks and 1 day I have owned it!) But there is nothing special about the drive train. It is slower than many, it has less range than many, and it has a low top speed due to the 15:1 gearbox. So I see nothing that is award-worthy for the propulsion system. Unless maybe this is more efficient than most others?
But I love this car either way. And, what is with your sig, you mention "2024 Dodge Charger Daytona Scat Pack Stage 2 Redeye" -What is that?
